The PTC-IIusb and PTC-IInet are equipped with terminals for the GPS signal cables. This Y-Cable will allow you to connect your GPS to the PTC-IIex modem.

Product Description

ARPS and position data in transmit E-mails is growing in popularity for many purposes.


  • Our modems with RS232 interface, so the PTC-IIex and the PTC-IIpro, can read the NMEA (GPS data interchange format) input.

  • The modem can process this data directly and send it as a beacon signal. Also known programs, such as Airmail etc. rely on the position information.

  • The Y-cable is plugged in between the serial connection and draw down a 9-pin RS-232 jack for connecting your GPS unit.
