High Quality Pactor/Packet Communication on a budget!

The SCS PTC-IIex modem kits offer the least expensive approach to high quality Pactor and Packet communications.  The SCS PTC-IIex modem is the little brother to the SCS PTC-IIpro and SCS PTC-IIusb but provides exactly the same communications operation and quality as its big brothers, but at a lower price. 

The only difference between the PTC-IIex and the PTC-IIusb is the computer and radio interfaces.  The PTC-IIex has a serial computer interface and only a single output port for adio connection to the radio transceiver.  With this modem frequency control of the radio will have to be provided direct from the computer.
